Gatton State Forest
Gatton State Forest is a great little place for trail riding. You will need a license and a registered bike to get around it as it is all open public roads. There are a number of single trails that veer off the sides of the road and there a number of great hills climbs too.
It can get a little hot and dusty out there so make sure you take plenty of water.
All up there is something for just about everyone!
How to get there.
Take the Gatton exit and head back over the hwy along Gatton-Esk Rd. Keep on going till you reach Millers Rd and turn left. Follow it to the end and take the dirt road to the left (heading right takes you into the new Gatton Prison.
