Deongwar State Forest

Deongwar State Forest is located on the Esk Hampton Rd approx 10-12km west of Esk.

It is a small State Forest running along a ridge line of the Toowoomba range. As it runs along the ridge there are a number of spur lines running down the hill so there is a lot of down and back up riding.

There is something here for all levels of riding. There are plenty of fast fire trails, some great single trails, and some adventurous exploring trails thru the lantana infested valleys and creeks.

On the flip side, the drive out is a bit on the long side and it's a bit like Lockyer State Forest, so expect dusty conditions. Also it can get plenty hot out there so take plenty of water.
